4 – 601.11(A) Equipment, Food Contact Surfaces, Nonfood Contact Surfaces and UtensilsDuring a Food Safety inspection of this facility on 4/25/23, it was observed that partially cooked chicken was being stored in cardboard cartons that previously contained raw chicken. The topic was discussed with the person in charge. While dropping off a completed inspection report on 5/10/23, the inspector observed the facility using the cardboard carton lid from a box of raw chicken to hold cooked chicken. The facility was also using metal sheet trays, but the PIC said they did not have enough sheet trays so they used a the lid of the raw chicken carton.
